Why is it so difficult to get Lamb in the south?

Well, first off Texas is not the same as other southern states, and some of us don't consider them southern. Although when I lived in Georgia i did notice that it was indeed in short supply. It's more of a yank thing. In Georgia we love chicken, pig, and freshwater fish.
