Ovulation question...?

ok here is the low down i took clomid this month, i got AF on oct 17, took clomid on day 6 for 5 days my last day was fri the 26. My doctor told me that 3 days after the last pill is when i ovulate.. My husband and I had on sat nite and then again on mon afternoon and then tues nite.. I hope we hit the right days. I have been using a saliva tester and it has shown the ferns but i guess we sit and wait... We've been trying for 3 years, we got pregnant in Jan but we lost it. We've been trying for so long that it sometimes takes a toll on us but we want to have a family so badly...
