Need some opinions, please?

"Mike" and I have known each other for 10 plus years and have never denied the love we had held for each other all those years. He has never lied to me, has always been there for me thru alot of mishaps in my life and has a "6th sense" for always knowing somehow when I am in a bad way and knows I need him and will call me from out of nowhere. We never did get "together" for a long period of time bec he lives in NJ and I live in GA. Recently we have been talking daily by text, computer or phone and we have rediscovered that even after 10 yrs, our love has not died and he wants me to consider going to NJ. I have a job I love and a ton of friends but am not happy without him. He has a good job, his son and friends he doesn't want to leave in NJ. I am going for a long weekend visit soon to NJ. Some of my friends tell me to go for it, love that lasts that long doesn't happen every day and some friends who dont know him or our history think Im crazy. What do you think? Make a go of it and if things work out, move to NJ or ask him to move here? There's more to the story, but I don't have enough space or time to tell everything but I will say nothing is bad between us, never has been except bad timing. Neither of us has had a successful relationship since we met each other 10 yrs ago and he Always swore I wld be his wife one day if he wld just be patient. He is awesome, I love him with all my heart and he loves me.
