I need help about Proactive!?

i use proactive and i use the refining mask. but when should i use it? should i use it before i wash my face, after i wash my face, or after i use the 3 steps? if i use it right after i wash my face (before i use the 2nd and 3rd step) do i then put on the last steps when i'm done with it??
